Introduction to Strength Training

This class promotes foundational movement patterns for effective training.

Starting with an interactive, team focused warm-up, each 50-minute session breaks down three key movement or lifting patterns in the gym with guidance on why, when and how to use them.

We will cover movements such as Squats, Lunges, Hinges, Push/Pulls and more, and will guide you through safe form, variations, equipment choices, tempos, rep ranges and all the other useful bits to guide you into your strength training journey.

Each session finishes off with a strength circuit, focusing on moderate rep volumes that will bring the heart rate up, challenge the breath a little, and test your skill acquisition!
